Yay! [Nov. 22nd, 2006|10:36 am]

Well ok, so that whole "I'll update every day" idea didn't happen. Nor did my protein diet. But a few good things have happened since last update:
-I've exercised like mad as often as I could
-I've been eating considerably less, and, that's right, haven't had any crazy binges
-Kept it under 1000 kcal per day for the past.... only 3 days, but this is a big improvement
-Lost some inches, unfortunately gained weight but have been gaining muscle tissue and losing fat, and the extra muscle tissue will only help me burn off all my disgusting fat even faster

Yep, measurements are now as follows (when my gut isn't bloated like I'm pregnant and screaming at me, anyway):
Bust: 37" (woohoo! no change!)
Waist: 26" (2" to go ^^ )
Hips: 35"
Thigh: 20.5"
Arm: 10"

Looking a whole lot better anyway. Thighs and waist need some more improvement especially, and my arms too actually. The thighs and waist, mostly my waist toward my hips, are kind of fat and gross still, so I'm working on it. Will post "before" and "after" pictures when I'm finished, at this rate hopefully not too long! Then again burning off 1500 kcal through my DDR whenever I have time to do so much is certainly helping my cause...

Oh yeah, and I went clothes shopping on Saturday, I'm now a size 0 or 1, most 0's are a little snug though. They will fit eventually, dammit! 1's are very comfortable though, I'll just wear a belt with my new pants if I do outshrink them, I absolutely love the black Baby Phat jeans I got with the cat on the back pocket. Adorable <3 Same with the camoflauge pants with the eagle embroidered into one of the legs, I love it ^^ And the Tripp pants I got at Hot Topic, how can I not love those? Besides, Tripp pants don't come any smaller, 0 is the smallest they carried. Anywho... need to wash my face and do my makeup etc. before work, more when there's something to update.

Ok, so it didn't go quite so well as I had hoped today. I did manage to only eat about 1250 kcal today, which was an improvement, a huge one from yesterday. Tomorrow's goal is about 800, 440 from protein. I'll work my way down from there, I think. Forgot to weigh this morning too, and had no chance to DDR, so no exercise which sucks. I'm going to do both tomorrow morning, will update again then. Yucky, I did eat an awful lot today, I'll do better tomorrow, I had better >

Highest Weight: 178 (I don't even want to think of how disgusting that is)

Ok, so I'm really really far from my goals. I've had a really bad day in terms of eating habits today too, it's gross, I actually ate 2150 kcal of food today. I was doing so good yesterday in cutting down a few hundred from my usual, I guess this is my payback for that. I've got a new diet idea though, I'll essentially consume 440 kcal per day, over 75% of which will be protein. I have a protein supplement which I'll have 4 servings of a day (slightly more than my recommended allowance), and I will only eat a piece of fruit more at the very most (and in the morning, after my first daily exercise session and before my second, and that's mostly so as to not raise suspicions about my lack of food intake). My theory is that muscle tissue, which is what is first broken down when your body starves, is only broken down if there's a protein shortage, which there usually is when you have a severe calorie deficit. Therefore, if you supply your body with all the recommended protein needed, but leave a large calorie defecit, the body will not only continue maintaining your muscle tissue, which helps boost the metabolism as it burns a lot more calories even resting than fat tissue does, but it also will repair the muscle tissue that needs repair, not only using up those protein calories you put in your body and not burning them as energy, but also burning even more fat because you didn't intake enough calories to cover the calorie cost of repairing that muscle tissue. I think that not only will I not lose much, if any, muscle tissue, but I'll also manage to have a higher metabolism when compared to outright starving. That's my theory anyway. I'll be testing it out in the next few weeks, I'll post daily to show my progress/lack thereof. I will be eating at maximum 600 calories per day, 440 is in protein supplements, about 92 grams of which (or 368 calories) is pure protein, and I will take my measurements again after this experiment is over to see how much I've lost. I will also weigh daily and report on what else I happened to eat that day, in fruit only. We'll measure in 2 weeks, as I can't very easily continue with this experiment for much longer without being discovered by parents. If it does work, I'll probably do it on-and-off as I can to lose weight and get to my goal of 110 pounds and being skinny as a pole. I've got my fingers crossed...
